Public survey is done to get specific kind of information and data from people living in a society. The common ways to conduct a public survey is to use phone, internet, mobile messages, direct mail, etc.

Commonly done public surveys include Census surveys, educational surveys, health surveys, etc and most of these surveys are carried out by Government and some by NGO’s.
